                          EMERGING TRENDS FOR NEXT SEASON  

Now that we have all enjoyed christmas and after sporting our glittering New years eve party frocks we will all be thinking ahead to the new seasons trends... whats in? Well lets take a looksie!    

Fashion this spring won't be restrictive it incorporates the romantic- Think antique/vintage lace, bold florals, feminine pleats and peplums, soft scrummy sorbet shades as well as the sassier, sexier bold palettes of Green, turquoise,navy blue contrasted with tangerine, pink, purple, yellow and red ( the new season’s colors)these work alongside black, white, so mix and match creating impressive color block outfits. One shoulder, asymetric hems,rounded shoulders, hot pants and wide leg shorts are also a strong theme through the summer fashions. Boudoir shapes, perforated fabrics,cropped tops and sheer fabrics will add the va-va vroom to your summer wardrobe!

COLOUR SCHEMES: It is impossible to imagine summer without bright, bold  colors like orange, yellow and red but during the spring and Summer of 2012 they will be joined by Caramel hues and the softer, more  romantic shadesof  lilac, coral, cream, peach and banana. Yummy!

HANDBAGS: Next seasons arm candy will be elaborate and unusual. They come in a plethora of textures- knitted, printed, with plenty of detailing including rivets and transparent panels, chain handles and wrist straps. But the biggest hit of the season is the mini bag that is so small it can hold only keys and lipstick...Cute!

FABRICS/PRINTS:Spring/ Summer 2012 will be all about prints – bright, bold and interesting. Beautiful Floral prints dominate. But look out for the nature-inspired patterns which will include beautiful animal and bird prints, flora prints as well as patterns that incorporate sky, clouds and sun. Also keep an eye out for Kaleidoscopic and geometrical prints in bold and beautiful shades!
